Overview
The highly anticipated Nepali social drama Panch Pandav is scheduled to release in theaters across Nepal on November 6, 2026, strategically timed for the festive Tihar season. Directed by Basanta Niraula, this unique fantasy-drama cleverly bridges the ancient Dwapara Yuga with the modern Kali Yuga by following the legendary righteous leader Yudhishthira as he accidentally lands in present-day Nepal. Finding a society deeply plagued by severe political oppression, rampant corruption, and systemic injustice, he is forced to wage a modern-day Dharmayuddha (righteous war) to find his family and restore order. The film features a powerhouse ensemble cast including Hari Bansha Acharya as Yudhishthir, Jitu Nepal as Bhim, Aaryan Sigdel as Arjun, Mahesh Tripathi as Nakul, and Sushil Sitaula as Sahadev.
