Overview
now for meri mamuMeri Mamu, released on August 31, 2018, is a sentimental social drama produced by Santosh Sen that shifted away from the romantic themes of his previous hits to focus on the emotional bond between a mother and child. The film is particularly notable for featuring Santosh Sen's own son, Ayub Sen, in the lead child role, alongside Saruk Tamrakar and Kusum Gurung.Directed by Yam Thapa, the story explores the innocence of childhood and the deep yearning for maternal love. While it didn't reach the same "blockbuster" action heights as the Prem Geet series, it was praised for its heart-touching narrative and the natural performance of young Ayub, further diversifying the portfolio of Aasusen Films Production.
