Dinesh D.C., born Dinesh Raj Dahal, is a prominent figure in the Nepali entertainment industry, currently serving as the Chairman of the Film Development Board Nepal. Born on November 17 in Ilam, Nepal, he is married to Ranu Shrestha and has a diverse educational background, including an MBA. Dinesh D.C. began his career as a supporting artist in the film Sun Chandi (1997) and later took on various roles in films like Shankar (1997) and Muna Madan (2003). He made his directorial debut with Savadhan (2006) and gained acclaim for Maya's Bar (2012), which won him the National Film Award for Best Director.
